Secure Plus combines asset security with environmental disposal, making it the ideal solution for any organisation looking to dispose of their unwanted IT technology.
Secure disposal
Our specialist logistics team will collect your loose IT equipment from your organisation, and palletise and return it to our head office for processing. Each asset is then registered and uniquely bar coded, providing you with complete traceability.
All electronic data housed on your IT equipment is then eradicated and physically destroyed to the latest, approved government CESG standards. In addition, all data processing is carried out by Home Office Security cleared personnel for complete security.
Egton can process any form of media you require including HDDs, FDDs, tape drives, CCTV footage and Optical Discs.
Once equipment has been securely purged, redundant equipment will be recycled in accordance with the highest standards of environmental legislation. All hazardous waste, such as CRT monitors and UPS batteries will be treated in accordance with hazardous waste legislation to ensure that your business is completely compliant and that together we are looking after the environment.
Environmental disposal
Reporting includes asset level detail to audit standard and transparent analysis of the processing undertaken for each item. Each report will be backed up by a Certificate of Data Eradication and Certificate of Environmental Disposal. All data eradication is backed by £1M of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
